About Semantil
Company intelligence built for builders, APIs, and AI agents.
What we do
Semantil lets you search, enrich, and segment companies from our own web index. Use the browser to preview results, then run the same workflows through the REST API or MCP server.
The product is built around three actions: search for companies, find lookalikes from a seed domain, and enrich domains into lightweight company profiles.
Why we are different
Most company-data tools aggregate third-party providers and charge per lookup. Semantil owns the crawl, the technology detection layer, and the query engine. That gives the product lower unit costs, faster iteration, and a cleaner API surface.
The web app is not a separate dashboard bolted onto an API. It is a live preview of the same search, lookalike, and enrich workflows your agents can call directly.
What Semantil includes
Domain, title, description, country, language, website age, categories, and basic metadata.
Detected technologies, normalized tags, industry clusters, and web signals for segmentation.
Lookalike matching based on company traits, web structure, technology, category, and geography.
REST API, MCP-ready workflows, CSV exports, saved lists, and shareable search URLs.
What stays in ShopRank
Semantil comes from the same crawling heritage as ShopRank, but it is not a cheaper clone of ShopRank. Deep e-commerce intelligence such as GMV, payment-provider details, shipping-carrier details, company registry fields, and full market reports stays in ShopRank or custom internal workflows.
That boundary keeps Semantil simple: broad company search, lightweight enrichment, predictable pricing, and API-first workflows for builders.
Built from real infrastructure
The infrastructure behind Semantil grew out of years of crawling, classification, technology detection, and search work. We do not resell a spreadsheet of licensed providers. Every public product surface is backed by our own observation of the web.
